Position Overview:
The Director of Finance will play a critical role in shaping the financial health and sustainability of our client. Reporting directly to the CEO CTO, the ideal candidate will oversee all financial operations, provide strategic guidance, and lead a high-performing finance function. This is a hands on position.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business objectives.
Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
Oversee cash flow management, investments, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax and audit requirements.
Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team and Board of Directors.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial reporting accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments to support business growth initiatives and ensure financial alignment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Proven experience in a senior financial role, ideally in a start up or technology company.
Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in Quickbooks and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
