iO Associates are currently partnered with a Healthcare SaaS company in Tampa (office based) who are looking for a talented Front End Software Developer to join their team and help build high-quality, responsive web applications. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our product and design teams to deliver intuitive and seamless user experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and Next.js.
- Write clean, scalable code in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Build and style reusable components using frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Radix, and ShadCN.
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to enhance overall application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and help foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Lead projects from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience developing frontend web applications using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern styling libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Radix, and ShadCN.
- Demonstrated ability to build and troubleshoot responsive applications across desktop and mobile.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects from ideation to production.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mobile development frameworks such as React Native.
- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
- Understanding of Agile development workflows.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with frontend testing tools and frameworks.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Terraform.
- Exposure to AI developer tools such as CodeRabbit or Cursor.
