Senior Product Manager

An exciting AI start up is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to help manage and advance their current AI Platform.

This role will oversee the core AI Platform that serves as the foundation for data processing, modeling, and deployment. It supports both internal data science teams and external partners in rapidly building and sustaining high-impact solutions for Department of Defense missions. The team is looking for a Senior Product Manager with strong technical instincts, preferably with a background in software engineering, to lead the platform's roadmap and drive its continued success in supporting these critical applications.

• Lead Technical Initiatives: Plan and manage sprints, guide architectural decisions, and drive product releases in collaboration with engineering and data science teams.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with QA, design, and customer-facing teams to align execution with strategic priorities.

• Own Product Delivery: Define product requirements, conduct user and market research, validate features, and present demos to stakeholders.

• Connect Tech and Business: Translate technical complexity for broader audiences. Balance trade-offs between speed, quality, and scalability to make thoughtful decisions.
  
  

• Engineering Experience: Background as a software engineer or engineering manager. Confident working with code, discussing architecture, and collaborating on AI/ML initiatives.

• Product & Project Management: Proven success managing agile sprints and full product life cycles in fast-paced environments.

• AI/ML Familiarity: Comfortable working with analytics, machine learning, and data engineering concepts-though core engineering experience is paramount.

• Hands-On Ownership: Willing to test features, gather feedback, document findings, and make day-to-day decisions to move the product forward.

• Excellent Communication: Able to navigate conversations across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including demos and technical Q&A sessions.
