IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.
Our client is looking for a Software Test Analyst position to support multiple software development projects. The resource will act in a tester and analyst role for various in-flight projects. The resource will work in an agile environment to write and execute use cases, test plans and develop testing scripts for custom .NET web applications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases.
- Generating and documenting test plans and strategies.
- Generating testing reports and metrics.
- Generating and acquiring test data.
NOTE: Candidates MUST be local at time of submission. Relocation not allowed. Position will be hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence 2 days a week. This position is for a contract of 1-2 years with the option to convert to full time at the State of MI. The State does not sponsor visas at this time.

Contract: 1 year (C2H)
Skills Required:
- 5 years' experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
- 5 years' experience with API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client and others.
- 5 years' experience writing SQL, P-SQL queries
- 5 years' experience using ADA Compliance testing tools, such as AccVerify, JAWS, etc
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes (Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, Data Conversion).
- Build environments {DEV, UAT, QAT, PRE-PROD} specific test suites with integrated application life cycle management.
- Understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC)
- Experience / Knowledge of Java and JavaScript
- Experience with Issue tracking and defect management.
