IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.
Our client is seeking a Sr .NET Web Developer to help develop new products and support existing web applications that are maintained within the Enterprise section. The candidate will join an existing team to work on a critical API consumed by multiple other development teams. They will have to contend with the organizational challenges associated with balancing competing priorities from multiple teams.
The senior level .NET Web Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using .NET framework to support business requirements. Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and supported programming languages (e.g. C#, C , bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript). Performs development of front-end and back-end development of web applications and web API's (webservices).
Tasks:
- Requirements analysis, design.
- Development of quality code.
- Active participation in code reviews.
- Front-end and back-end web application development, testing, deployment activities, and production support.
- Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing.
- Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
- Can perform with no direct supervision, code is reviewed by team.
- Reviews junior developer s code.
- Creation of technical documentation.

Skills Required:
- 8 years - Demonstrated expertise with Entity Framework .NET Core
- 5 years - Strong experience with Rest APIs
- 8 years - Demonstrated extensive hands-on experience with Full Stack development
- 8 years - Strong familiarity and experience with OAuth and OpenID Connect 8 years
- 8 years - MS SQL Server & SQL Client tools experience
- 3 years - Experience writing custom SQL Server Stored procedures
- 5 years - Experience / familiarity with GitHub and JIRA
- Prior experience with Security applications development
- 8 years - Experience with ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core, as well as WebAPI and n-tier architecture
- Experience with languages and tools such as JavaScript, jQuery, C#, Bootstrap, and Kendo UI. -8 years
- 8 years - Experience providing production support to applications post-production
- 8 years - Experience with authentication and authorization techniques, including OAuth and OpenID Connect
- 8 years - Experience with the full SDLC and knowledge of project management principles
