The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate estimates.
- Analyzing proposals, blueprints, and specifications to identify labor, material, and time requirements.
- Computing costs by meticulously analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Conducting site visits to inspect and determine scope and costs effectively.
- Developing and writing a scope of work for sub-contractors for each trade.
- Coordinating for sub-contractors quotes when required.
- Developing comprehensive scopes of labor and materials for projects and presenting precise estimates.
To be considered, you must have 3 years of experience in the construction field, preferably as an estimator. Key qualifications include:
- Estimating of commercial painting projects.
- Ability to manage own schedule and work independently.
- Strong written, math, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
