IOCP is a nonprofit that provides services in food, case management, emergency financial assistance, employment services, and childcare resources to those residing in our service area. We are looking for an Institutional Giving Manager to join our team!
The Institutional Giving Manager is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with foundations, corporations, and government agencies to secure financial support for the organization. This role focuses on developing a robust pipeline of institutional donors, managing the grant application and reporting processes, and ensuring that the organization meets all compliance and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills and experience managing a successful portfolio of institutional funders.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive institutional giving strategy to meet the organization’s annual and long-term funding goals. Maintain a pipeline of institutional donor prospects and ensure effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports to institutional donors. Collaborate with program staff to gather information necessary for writing compelling grant proposals and donor reports. Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, tracking deadlines and ensure timely follow-up.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective institutional donors through personalized communication, site visits, and engagement opportunities. Create and implement stewardship plans to recognize institutional donors and keep them informed of the impact of their support.

What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years or more of experience in institutional fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit development.
- Proven track record of securing large grants and corporate sponsorships.
- Experience working with foundation, corporate, and government funding sources.
- Knowledge of nonprofit finance, program evaluation, and compliance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and fundraising databases.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
