As a Technology Intern You Are Responsible For
Providing effective temporary support while learning the fundamentals of Information Security and Information Technology and how to Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover to address dynamic cybersecurity risk.
Responsibilities
- Ensure company service standards are continually attained in area of responsibility
- Assist in reviews of vulnerability reports
- Assist in the patching process
- Assist with the review of user access reports
- Provide first level support
- Assist with technology risk assessment reviews
- Assist in the relocation of staff to a new facility or locations
- Provide seasonal clerical support as needed
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure; to perform the four operations with common decimals and fractions; to perform arithmetic operations involving all American monetary units
- Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure
- Ability to exchange information with others clearly and concisely; to present ideas, facts, and technical information
- Ability to maintain relationships that facilitate task accomplishment; to cooperate and resolve conflicts; to recognize needs and be sensitive to others
- Ability to receive guidance and supervision; follow work rules, work procedures; meet deadlines, punctuality and attendance standards, etc.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Working towards a BS in a computer or cybersecurity related field required.
- One year experience in desktop systems support, programming, or some comparable combination of education and experience.
