Ion Field Services is seeking a Instrument Fitter! The ideal candidate has proven experience in industrial instrumentation, effective communication skills, and is a team player. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read and understand P&ID’s, blueprints, and instrumentation details drawings.
- Perform tube bending single line and groups ranging from 1/8” to 1” O.D.
- Install instrument devices such as pressure, flow, level, vibration, and temperature transmitters.
- Have experience with gas chromatography (GC’s) and flow computers.
- Experience with guided wave radar to install and calibrate when needed for commissioning.
- Periodic assistance with start-up, commissioning, and field changes.
- Experience with Trex, Hart, and radar master.
- Install, bend and supports various size of pre-insulated tubing bundles (Decron)
- Explain instructions to plan work for small crew.
- Keep stock of hardware and mount clamps
- Order tube fittings, pipe fittings and specialty components
- Must keep track of daily progress tracking and project completion updates.
- Provide and maintain communication with client/customer representatives.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Bluebeam.
