Statement of Purpose:

Iona University seeks applications for the position of Assistant Club Men's Rugby Coach. Reporting to the Director of Club Sports. The Assistant Club Men's Rugby Coach is responsible for all aspects of the club program as well as being committed to the academic mission of the University. The Assistant Club Men's Rugby Coach teaches the sport of Rugby to student-athletes, and provides for coaching, recruitment and retention of rugby players.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be knowledgeable of, and abide by, all College and campus policies, club sport policies, and conference/league requirements.
• Plan, organize and lead the operations for the club sport program including coaching, fundraising, budgeting and travel arrangements.
• Travel with and supervise team at home and away games to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• It is important for the Assistant Club Men's Rugby Coach to have a background in the sport.
• Must grasp the current men's rugby strategies and techniques.
• Possess a valid driver's license
