In addition, the internship program allows students to grow both professionally and personally through interactions with research and business professionals in support of projects aligned with department initiatives. Students will learn and work under a practicing professional who will provide guidance and mentorship.
Research Toxicology and Informatics
Summary :
- The nonclinical informatics team is focused on providing solutions to technology gaps and process inefficiencies to enable effective research and collaboration
- As a member of this team, you will gain a vast knowledge in software development, cloud application engineering, automation, data modeling - all within an agile work environment
- The Software Engineering Intern will work within the nonclinical informatics to design, develop, and deploy a robust sample tracking system to enhance operational efficiency for end users
- The solution must be scalable in a cloud environment, integrate with existing software solutions, contain a user-friendly interface for data entry, and maintain well structure data to enable downstream analytics and reporting
- You will enjoy working on challenging technical issues, engaging directly with stakeholders, and use creative and innovative techniques to develop solutions
