Director, Olezarsen Patient Marketing (TEMP)
This position is responsible for strategic patient marketing to guide product and brand development. This includes the definition of sustainable competitive advantages, key product attributes, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and market development initiatives. This candidate will lead patient-directed product strategy, planning and implementation of commercial activities, and is the primary contact point on all aspects of patient-directed commercial strategy. The candidate will also partner with patient advocacy, above-brand patient services groups, clinical, regulatory, market insights, project management, manufacturing and others for the development and implementation of launch plans and brand plans for patient-directed activities for Olezarsen.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develops and Executes Launch Planning.Leads the development of the patient journey and its implications for Brand Strategy and Tactical Planning.Leads the development of patient marketing strategy and execution for Olezarsen.Leads the development of Olezarsen patient ambassadors and serves as the marketing lead for patient services, and corporate affairs (communications and advocacy).Works in cohesive partnership with HCP lead to ensure a fully integrated execution of the brand plan.Manages Patient AOR in development and execution of brand strategy to support business objectives.Understands key market and consumer trends in competitive environment and synthesizes insights critical to inform product strategy and communicationsManages vendors to ensure execution toward business objective.Attendance and Interfaces and Medical Congresses.Attends key medical and patient conferences and builds strong, appropriate relationships with patients and advocacy groups to understand the patient journey and support the community.Leads commercial patient congress initiatives.Travel, primarily domestically, as needed.REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum of 15 years industry experience in Pharmaceutical Strategic Marketing, in-line Marketing / product management and / or other relevant commercial discipline, preferably in specialty disease areas with a bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years’ experience; or equivalent experience.Experience in Cardiology / Endocrinology area strongly preferred.Patient-directed marketing or advocacy experience required.Experience in Lipids is a benefit but not a requirement.Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business.Conducts thorough assessment of intangible variables, identifies, and evaluates fundamental issues providing strategy and direction for major functional areas.Is able to interact effectively with personnel at all levels and in all disciplines, both internally and externally.Possesses strong analytical communication, presentation, and time management skills.Has intellectual curiosity to expand relevant medical, scientific, and commercial experience.Adaptable and able to work well across multiple departments and within cross-functional team.Demonstrates consistency and professionalism in personnel management skills and teamwork.Demonstrates excellence in independent management of complex projects.Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with physician and research key opinion leaders.
