Temp HR Clerk / Receptionist
Ionis is seeking an energetic and dependable individual to greet and provide a positive first impression to all visitors. This individual will be responsible for communicating with all levels of the organization and operating a multi-line telephone system to answer and direct calls appropriately. The ideal candidate will be punctual and able to work the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities :
- Welcome and check-in visitors, vendors, candidates, government officials, and inform appropriate personnel
- Manage daily administrative tasks such as answering incoming calls, determining purpose of calls when appropriate, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel
- Retrieve voicemails and forward appropriately
- Receive and sort all company mail
- Act as a point of contact in emergencies
- Schedule meetings and reserve conference rooms
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, copying, faxing, and scanning
- Being able to manage multiple calendars and schedule meetings accordingly
- Other duties as assigned
