Operations Technician

Role Summary:

In this role, you’ll be supporting research and development operations. As a technician, you will be setting up equipment to perform experiments, writing technical process documents and making operations safer and more efficient. This is a full-time role located in our Centennial, CO office in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written communications, diagrams, drawings, or specifications.
• Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs.
• Creates or adapts parts as needed to make repairs and improve the performance of various electronics.
• Instructs employees regarding safe working procedures and requirements when working with electronic equipment and components.
• Develops and maintains records related to electronic and electrical equipment.

You’ll Need These Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• 2 years of mechanical experience
• Ability to follow complex directions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• This position has no specific education requirements, though experience in some or all of the following areas is strongly preferred:
  • Electronics/electrical maintenance or repair
  • Working with power tools such as drills
  • Physics, Chemistry or Electrical R&D lab
  • Inventory management
  • Technical writing
  • Basic construction
  • Experimental design

Benefits and Compensation:

Salary: $28.20 per hour (wage is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).
