Position Overview:
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing high-quality customer service during events, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized setting. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of hospitality and banquet operations. Candidates should have some prior experience in a catering hall or restaurant and must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Servers without catering hall or restaurant experience will be fully trained on premises.
Primary Functions of the Job:
- Efficiently and consistently deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for our guests.
- Work collectively as a team to ensure and enhance our guests’ experience during events.
- You must be able to communicate effectively with guests and be able to take orders.

- Set up and break down the banquet hall before and after events, ensuring all rooms are properly set up, clean and organized.
- Greeting guests warmly and providing prompt, friendly, and professional service.
- Adhere to all state and local health and safety regulations.
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions, equipment failures, or incidents to management.
Communication & Teamwork:
- Communicate effectively with management and event MaîtreD’s and all staff members.
- Assist with other event-related tasks as needed.
- Accurately track and manage monthly banquet hall inventory.
Qualifications:
- Food Handlers certification a plus.
- All applicants are required to be 18 years old and over to apply.
- Prior experience as a server in a catering hall, banquet facility, or restaurant is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
