CAT Scale Company is hiring an innovative and goal-oriented Scale Technician to join our team. Travel both the United States and Canada installing and opening new truck scales in our 2,200 CAT Scale network! Join a company known for setting the standard of excellence in the truck weighing industry. Are you interested in working with a growing company that will help train and support you while you learn?
Our Scale Technicians are on the road an average of 1 week a month installing a brand-new state-of-the-art CAT Scale. For the other 3 weeks, they are working in Walcott, Iowa, at the Headquarters for CAT Scale, supporting our help desk. This time is spent at a desk on the phone and computers.

As a Scale Technician, you will work with and learn from various people, including crew members, foremen, maintenance crews, subcontractors, and customers. You will also lead scale installations and major overhaul projects.

Requirements
- Excellent customer service, technical, and computer skills
- Construction experience is a plus.
- Previous electronic troubleshooting experience
- Able to perform with limited supervision
- Computer networking skills are a plus!
- Ability to provide own set of tools
- Bilingualism is a highly preferred skill for the position, but it is not required!
