Whether it's performing routine maintenance, handling tire repairs, or diagnosing mechanical issues, you'll be the go-to expert our customers rely on for all their diesel vehicle needs.

Requirements

As a Diesel Lube and Tire Technician, you'll have a wide range of responsibilities that keep our operations running smoothly. Here's what your typical day will look like:

• Perform Diesel Engine Oil & Lube Services: You’ll be responsible for performing oil changes and lubrication services on diesel engines. You’ll ensure that engines run smoothly and that vehicles are ready to hit the road.
• Tire Maintenance & Repairs: From rotating tires to balancing and repairing, you’ll ensure that every tire is in excellent condition for safety and performance. You’ll also install new tires and monitor tire pressure levels.
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: You’ll use diagnostic tools to identify issues with the vehicle’s diesel engine or tire performance. Your ability to troubleshoot and fix mechanical problems will be essential to delivering high-quality service.
• Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip inspections of diesel vehicles, checking oil levels, tire pressure, and other critical systems to ensure they are road-ready and safe for customers.
• Customer Communication: You’ll explain the maintenance needs of the vehicles to customers, answering any questions and providing them with an overview of services performed. Excellent communication skills will help build trust with customers.
• Maintain Equipment & Shop Safety: Ensure the shop and all tools are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety. Follow all safety protocols to keep the work environment safe for you and your team.
• Document Services: Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle, including details of repairs and maintenance completed. This helps ensure proper documentation and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a dedicated, reliable, and skilled Diesel Lube and Tire Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing top-quality service. If you have:

• Diesel Mechanic Experience: You have experience working with diesel engines and performing maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and tire maintenance. Experience with commercial and heavy-duty vehicles is a plus!
• Tire Maintenance Expertise: You know how to work with tires - from repairs to installations and rotations. You’re knowledgeable about tire pressures, balancing, and tread wear.
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude: You have a solid understanding of diesel mechanics and troubleshooting, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Customer Service Skills: You’re personable and able to communicate effectively with customers, explaining maintenance procedures and addressing concerns clearly and professionally.
• Attention to Safety & Detail: You understand the importance of safety in the workplace and follow procedures meticulously. You take pride in delivering excellent work and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to Work Independently & with a Team: You’re capable of handling tasks on your own but also enjoy working with a team to keep the shop running smoothly and efficiently.
• Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation: A valid driver’s license is required, as you may need to move vehicles around the shop.
