Iowa Beverage is seeking a Draft Beer Technician to join our team!

Iowa Beverage Systems, Inc is a wholesale beer distribution company founded in 1992. We service over 5,000 retail customers in Central & Eastern Iowa from our warehouses located in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Quad Cities.
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service through cleaning and maintenance of draft beer systems in assigned accounts as scheduled.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Service all assigned route customers by end of shift each day.
- Maintain draught equipment in retail accounts.
- Complete records of cleaning service by account via handheld device and account calendar registration.
- Solicit additional draught lines and/or product placements.
- Merchandise accounts to include permanent and paper P.O.S. placement.
- Complete invoices properly, charging and/or crediting the account for any draught system parts sold/exchanged.
- Responsible for complying with all Quality Assurance guidelines and quality policies of IBEV and suppliers.
- Assist with weekend support and special events as requested.
- Adheres to all IBEV policies, procedures, and trainings to include safety.
- Responsible for maintaining communications after daily work hours to meet customer service needs.
- Establish and maintain professional customer relationships.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns.
- Responsible for maintenance of company provided tools and equipment.
- Understand and comply with all federal, state and local regulations, IBEV and supplier policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Basic handheld (phone) skills.
- Mechanical skill-set and mind-set.
- 18 years or older.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience working in a mechanical field and understanding the basic functions and parts of beer draft systems. Prior customer service experience and strong attention to detail.
