What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Nursery Sales & Customer Service position at Iowa City Landscaping & Garden Center?
Iowa City Landscaping & Garden Center in Iowa City, IA is looking for motivated individuals to join our Nursery Lot Sales and Customer Service team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and enjoys working with a small, diverse team in a public-facing, retail environment. Familiarity with landscape plants and their care is ideal, but not required.
Seasonal part-time positions are currently available. We can work to fit your home or school schedule.
This is primarily an outdoor job, and requires the ability to work in Iowa's changing weather conditions and be on your feet for long periods. This job role also requires the ability to lift 40 pounds, sometimes multiple times throughout the work day.
Other aspects of the job include watering plants, off-loading new plant materials from trucks as well as general maintenance and organization of the facility and grounds.
