What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADRC Meal Site Coordinator position at Iowa County Government?
Iowa County is seeking applications for two part-time (20 hrs./wk.) ADRC Meal Site Coordinator – one in Linden and one in Dodgeville. The Meal Site Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a community meal site, ensuring that meals are served in a safe, welcoming and efficient manner. Duties include maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a positive environment for program participants. Starting hourly rate of pay is $18.44.
Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extend periods of time, valid driver’s license with access to an insured motor vehicle, and completion of Safe Serve training within ninety (90) days of hire. Experience in food preparation, nutrition services, or community meal programs preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, effective communication skills and basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and reported needed.
