Job Overview

As a Residential Fence Sales Representative, you will be the primary contact for homeowners seeking fencing solutions. This is a 100% commission-based role offering uncapped earning potential. Your success is driven by your ability to connect with leads, deliver exceptional service, and close sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Management:
  • Respond to inbound leads generated through Iowa Fence Inc.'s marketing efforts, including Facebook ads, MySalesman.com, and referrals.
  • Proactively source new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Customer Consultations:
  • Meet with homeowners on-site to understand their fencing needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Provide accurate and competitive quotes that align with customer budgets.
  • Sales Process Execution:
  • Transition rough estimates into signed agreements within 48 hours, securing a 50% deposit during the on-site check.
  • Ensure smooth communication with the installation team to coordinate project timelines.
  • Customer Relationship Building:
  • Build trust and rapport with homeowners, addressing questions or concerns to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Foster long-term customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
  • Market Awareness & Representation:
  • Stay informed on fencing products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Represent Iowa Fence Inc. at trade shows, community events, and other networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in a commission-based sales role, preferably in fencing, construction, or home improvement industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of fencing materials and installation processes is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to close deals independently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite to track leads and manage sales activities.
  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
