Summary :
The Iowa Heartlanders Marketing department is seeking enthusiastic interns interested in gaining hands-on experience with a minor league hockey program. It is an unpaid position, with opportunities to be paid for game days. This position will provide interested candidates with the opportunity to learn more about social media, graphic design, and / or videography. These highly motivated individuals will be key contributors in capturing content, continuing the growth of the Heartlanders brand digitally, and creating engaging content for Heartlander fans.
Responsibilities :
- Communications :
- Writing featured stories, game notes, game recaps and website content
- Media relations and broadcast opportunities for interested candidates
- Social Media
- Gathering, posting, and sharing content
- Assist with photography
- Implement and execute social media calendars
- Create fun and engaging ways to generate content
- Attend assigned games and practices
- Graphic Design
- Creating and editing graphics
- Videography
- Capturing and editing video
- Other duties as assigned
