This is not a remote position; standard office hours are generally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and documents.

Manage bank deposits, general ledger entries, and statements.

Reconcile accounts promptly and accurately.

Perform data entry of financial transactions into accounting software.

Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Assist in month-end reporting and closing processes.

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Issue checks and match invoices to ensure proper approvals.

Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and financial reports.

Serve as primary backup to Staff Accountant/Payroll Specialist.

Maintain strict confidentiality and support colleagues across the agency.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

General payroll processing experience with familiarity in payroll software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word.

Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Capability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Basic knowledge of home health care business operations preferred.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent projects.

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
