We are in the process of hiring workers for the 2025 season.
Wages depending on experience.
Duties
- Manage all traffic control related items for numerous projects.
- Ability to make decisions concerning personnel, equipment, and schedules.
- Support company matters and enforce all policies with all employees.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to lead small groups.
- Must keep a daily job diary.
- Assist in utility locating to prevent damage to underground services during construction activities.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate site activities and minimize disruptions.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding site conditions and traffic patterns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on-site.
- Must be ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certified.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Vision / color perception.
- Standing 5 hours.
- Lifting & carrying up to 90lbs.
- Mount / dismount trucks & forklift.
- Able to push, pull, bend, and lift arms over head.
- Work indoors and outdoors in extreme cold & extreme heat.
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to Forklift and Bobcat.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and utility locating practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively direct traffic and coordinate with team members.
- Capability to build rapport with the public while managing traffic flow around work zones.
Work Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Must have at least two (2) years traffic control experience and hold an ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor card.
- Pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
- Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
- Report to work at the designated start time.
- Be able to work overtime when required.
- Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties and required.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas.
