The Iowa Primary Care Association is looking for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an outpatient community health center in Council Bluffs, IA.
About the health center :
This community health center is a cornerstone of comprehensive primary care, serving as a critical resource for under-resourced patients. They integrate medical, dental, and behavioral health to ensure ensure all patients receive coordinated, all-encompassing care, under one roof.
Position Details : Clinic Hours :
- Mon-Thurs : 8am-7pm; Fri : 8am - 5pm; Sat : 8am-12pm; will discuss schedule during interview.
Call schedule : rotated weekly amongst the provider but is very light.
Patient load : 8-16 per day
Patient appts : 20 minute time slots
Team : 1 MD, 3 PA, 4.2 NP, .5 RN, 1.5 MA
EHR : Epic
In Iowa, Nurse Practitioners can practice independently with full practice authority.
