The ideal MRI Tech will play a crucial role in helping us continue to be the premier provider of radiologic services in Iowa by providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate diagnostic information.
Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist:
- Performing MRI scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
- Providing compassionate care including explanation of procedures to patients, their family, and others as needed to ensure the patient's understanding of the exam to be performed.
- Providing proper protection to patients, self, and others in the MRI room in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
- The MRI Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Following established protocols for infection control and patient safety during all procedures.
Qualifications of the MRI Technologist:
- Graduation from an AMA approved school of radiologic technology.
- Must be ARRT certified in MRI and Radiography
- Must have a current state permit to practice.
