Job Description:
Full time position available at Iowa Specialty Hospitals and Clinics.
An opportunity to work with our expanding Diabetic Education Team providing patient education.
The growing Diabetic program involves, DSMES, DPP, insulin initiation, pump, pod, and CGM opportunities for patients.
This position will also work closely on expanding and developing outreach offerings to align with the vision of enhancing overall wellness for all Diabetic patients throughout the communities we serve.
This position joins an established team of talented outpatient dietitians and a Diabetic Education Program Coordinator for support and collaboration.
Requirements:
Associate’s Degree, graduate of accredited school of Registered Nursing, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred or Master’s Degree in Dietetics
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting, preferable in diabetes prevention or health education.
Current BLS certification, or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
Position will be required to travel to all Iowa Specialty Hospital locations as needed.
