Job Title: Outpatient Dietitian
Iowa Specialty Hospital Belmond is seeking a part-time outpatient dietitian to provide nutritional care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutritional care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients and family members on nutrition principles, dietary planning, and food selection.
The primary patient population includes individuals with diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, weight management concerns, food allergies, and other related conditions.
Requirements:
- ServSafe certification within one year of hire.
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
- State of Iowa Licensed Dietitian (LD)
