Objective
Clarke County Extension Council is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to serve as our 2025 Summer Program Assistant/Intern.
Responsibilities
Assist with and coordinate summer events and activities such as day camps, 4-H workshops, and the County Fair.
Assist with county and state fair entry processing.
Assist with database entry and coordination.
Must be available to work additional hours during the week of county fair July 13-21,2025
Maintain accurate records.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
16 years of age and older
Must successfully complete background screening.
Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation.
Knowledge and/or experience as a member or volunteer in the Iowa 4-H program.
Interest in Extension & Outreach as a career is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong computer skills.
Organizational skills.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Cooperates well with others – a team player.
Dependable.
Able to work independently and with a group.
Strong communication skills.
Additional Information
Mid – May through early August. Start and end time are negotiable.
Up to 40 hours per week.
More hours during County Fair – July 13-21, 2025
