Objective
To assist with summer programming and provide excellent customer service using Iowa 4-H and ISU Extension and Outreach materials and resources.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the county youth coordinator and office assistant.
Assist with Monona County youth summer camps and programs as needed.
Aid in preparation for the 2025 county fair activities including livestock and static projects.
Accurately enter county fair data in software systems including 4-H Online and Fair Entry.
Assist staff during the 2025 Monona County Fair with tasks as needed.
Answer office phone and assist walk-in clientele as needed.
Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and clients in the county.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
This position is temporary and part-time with hours primarily in June and July; up to 160 hours.
The Monona County Fair dates include July 6-13, 2025. The wage begins at $14/hour.
