Job Description:
The Instructional Designer II Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) collaborates across Iowa State Online, Enterprise Instructional Technology and Course Design and Quality teams within CELT to effectively design, develop and support courses across all modalities at the university. This position will provide guidance to faculty and staff regarding technologies supported at the university.
Responsibilities
- Partners with instructors on the creation of high quality designed and developed courses for online courses, programs, certificate programs, etc.
- Participates in course auditing and quality design assurance in online environments
- Assists faculty in the designing and development of courses with current systems and technologies
- Provides guidance to faculty that meet instructional design standards and follow established procedures
- Works in collaboration with academic units across campus.
