- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate efficiently.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
- Use testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imaging cameras) to locate and fix issues.
- Troubleshoot motor controls, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and automated systems.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and according to industry standards.
- Conduct electrical risk assessments and implement corrective measures.
- Upgrades & Modifications
- Assist in upgrading electrical systems for improved efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Modify and install electrical control systems to optimize industrial operations.
