Under limited supervision, the instructor is responsible for teaching a multi-level ESL class to students enrolled in IWCC's secondary programs.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Attend professional development sessionsUtilize engaging and interactive teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.Maintain accurate records of attendee participation and completion for reporting purposes.Tailor course instruction to meet the diverse needs of adult ESL learners with varying levels of experience
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Ability to occasionally lift 10 pounds, ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone, and other basic office equipment, and ability to work with diverse populations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, and ability to work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem-solving and high level of inter-personal skills is preferred.
