The automotive lab assistant assists automotive faculty in coordinating day-to-day classroom labs and to ensure safety.
Job Duties
- Assists automotive faculty in coordinating day-to-day classroom labs and to ensure safety.
- Prepare and maintain lab equipment and tools for student use, ensuring everything is in proper working order and adheres to safety standards.
- Organize and assist in the inventory of supplies.
- Support instructors during lab sessions by demonstrating techniques, helping students operate equipment, and providing guidance on safe practices.
- Monitor lab activities to ensure students adhere to safety procedures, properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Automotive experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, have valid U.S Driverâs license and good driving record.
