Description
Assist with the media department before, during, and after Iowa Western Athletic events . Ability to attend sporting events past the normal business work hours to communicate, film, record, and provide support to the Athletic Department.
11.00 / hr with a maximum of 20hrs / week
Job Duties
Job Duties Include but are not Limited to :
- Social media : Updating and promoting athletic social media sites
Photography : Shooting and Editing photos at Iowa Western athletic events
Video : Creating online videos to highlight student-athlete achievements
Website : Adding photos or other information to the GoReivers athletics website
Organization : Organizing a library of athletic videos and photos
Gameday : Various gameday jobs include statistics spotter, music, video board operator.
Qualifications
MUST BE A FULL-TIME IOWA WESTERN STUDENT FOR THE 2024-25 ACADEMIC YEAR.
Experience using DSLR or Mirrorless cameras
Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
Working knowledge of social media platforms
Knowledge of college sports rules and regulations
Knowledge of Apple ipads
Must maintain good academic standing
Physical Demands
Requires prolonged sitting / standing
Ability to periodically lift up to 50 lbs
