Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and accurately routing phone calls through our property's telephone system in a timely and professional manner. This includes greeting guests, responding to their requests in a friendly and courteous manner, and maintaining a complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Answer incoming calls on console and direct them to the appropriate extensions or parties.
- Respond to guests' requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Receive and log all emergency calls and direct them to security and/or facility maintenance departments.
Qualifications:
- One year of experience in telephone switchboard, multi-line phone systems, and/or customer service preferred.
- Must be fluent in English; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
- Must be PC literate and able to type 30 wpm.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be able to sit for an entire shift.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
