Job Summary:

Join our rapidly growing team, where we have doubled in size over the last few years! As a Support/Deployment Technician, you will provide first-level technical support to our customers, primarily interacting with IT professionals and end users. This full-time role is perfect for a self-starter with excellent communication skills. While technical expertise is essential, we are committed to training the right candidate in our comprehensive product set.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Deploy desktop workstations, laptops, and other devices.

·         Generate and distribute reports on project status and organizational asset locations.

·         Troubleshoot network operations and provide end-user support.

·         Ensure PC roll-out tasks and processes are aligned with project schedules.

·         Facilitate repairs and offer technical support for LAN/WAN equipment and wiring.

·         Patch systems and monitor backups, addressing related issues.

·         Respond to client system tickets, escalating as necessary to on-call engineers.

·         Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and continuously strive for improvement.

·         Provide technical support for our full product suite.

·         Perform routine walkarounds and general maintenance of data centers to ensure optimal operation and uptime.

·         Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

·         Experience or understanding of supporting or implementing technology solutions.

·         Experience or exposure to the following technologies is preferred:

·         Networking and system infrastructure (servers, switches, firewalls, etc.)

·         Linux-based operating systems and command-line tools (bash, vim, etc.)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

·         Adaptability to changing technologies and environments.

·         Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

·         Capable of working independently while maintaining alignment with company standards.

·         Basic understanding of IT security principles and best practices.

·         Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

·         Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.

Alternatively, six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Abilities Required:

·         Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl frequently.

·         Work near moving mechanical parts and occasionally at heights or in precarious positions.

·         Exposure to various weather conditions during outdoor tasks.

·         The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

·         Occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.

·         Ability to move around data centers to perform maintenance or installations.

·         Minimal travel may be required to other company locations or customer sites with planned overnight travel if necessary.

·         Experience using specialized equipment or vehicles, such as a hardware deployment van and etcher.
