Here, you will prepare and prosecute patent applications and have responsibilities pertaining to a range of patent protection issues (e.g., patentability and clearance opinions, risk assessment analyses, patent estate management, due diligence, PTAB cases) while working closely with clients, inventors, and firm partners.Patent attorneys at this firm operate under high quality standards, which has resulted in obtaining clients who value patent attorneys who can write polished, well-written patent applications while also grasping the commercial needs. This firm has an excellent distribution of clients, thus you will have the ability to deal with reasonable variety, dictated by your technical capabilities.Patent Attorney Requirements : Ph.D. in life sciences (e.g., organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology) is strongly preferredAt least 2 years of full-time patent drafting and prosecution experience within a respected law firm.Any applicable prior research and / or product development would also be valuedJD, State Bar, USPTO licenseNotes for Potential Candidates : All fees are paid by client firms and companies.
