The Role of a Planner at IP Corporation
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Planner to join our supply chain team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels and collaborating with various departments to ensure inventory levels meet anticipated customer demand.
Key Responsibilities as a Planner:
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, avoiding overstocking or stockouts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Data Analysis: Utilize ERP systems and analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze stock and usage levels, determine economic reorder points and quantities, and create purchase orders.
- Risk Management: Assess supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
Requirements for the Planner Position:
- Bachelor's degree: In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-8 years in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on analyzing stock and usage levels, determining economic reorder points and quantities, and creating purchase orders using an ERP computer software program.
- Inventory Portfolio Management: Prior experience managing an inventory portfolio with a minimum turnover rate of 7 or higher.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP and MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, M3).
