Weโre looking for a Senior Design Project Manager with 15-20 years of experience in managing large-scale industrial projects ($100M-$300M range). This role is ideal for a highly experienced engineer who has grown into project management and understands the day-to-day demands of the A/E side of the business.
In this position, you wonโt just oversee projectsโyouโll step in, take charge, and drive execution from start to finish. Your expertise in engineering, architecture, and large capital project planning will be critical in delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the chemicals, oil & gas, pulp & paper, and power generation industries.
What Youโll Do
โ Own Project Execution โ Take charge of large-scale A/E design and engineering projects from inception to completion
๐ ๏ธ Drive Large Capital Programs โ Oversee $100M-$300M projects, ensuring efficient scope development, budgeting, and execution
๐ Develop & Manage Project Scope โ Lead multi-disciplinary coordination efforts across design, engineering, and construction teams
๐ฐ Control Costs & Schedules โ Ensure projects stay on time and within budget
๐ Lead Large Engineering Teams โ Work closely with architects, engineers, and industrial specialists to achieve project goals
๐ Ensure High-Quality Deliverables โ Translate complex designs into clear construction specifications
What You Bring To The Table
๐น 15-20 years of experience in A/E project management within industrial markets ๐
๐น Strong hands-on field experienceโnot just client-facing but deep knowledge of real-world execution
๐น Expertise in engineering design, large-scale industrial projects, and construction planning
๐น Proven leadership in $100M-$300M projects across chemicals, oil & gas, pulp & paper, and power generation
๐น Strong financial & project controlsโbudgeting, scope development, and contract oversight
๐น Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Excel
๐น PMP Certification and Professional Engineer (PE) License are a plus!
Education
๐ Bachelorโs Degree in Engineering required
๐ PMP Certification and PE License highly preferred
