The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing and analyzing the results of the complex scientific tests.
Essential Functions

- Analyzer Maintenance
- Preparing and running calibrations and QCs on analyzers
- Monitoring quality control measures and protocols
- Running patient samples (serum, whole blood, urine)
- Reviewing and reporting of results
- Maintaining laboratory logs

Qualifications, Knowledge and Competencies
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Certification by ASCP, AMT, or AAB, Medical Technologist License (or Medical Laboratory Technician) in State of Florida and laboratory experience.
Knowledge: Beckman AU700, Beckman DxH560, Beckman Access 2
Competencies: Technical Capacity, Decision Making, Problem Solving/Analysis, Results Driven, Pipetting
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position with potential to turn into full-time as we grow. Days of work are: Saturday from 9:00 am-5:30pm and one day during the week (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday)
Salary : $25 - $30
