Assembler

Job Summary: Assembler performs tasks associated with both mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies in the final assembly of equipment for Conair brand products. The role builds, tests, and repairs industrial machinery for our customers.

Description: We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our production team. The successful candidate will perform mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, build, test, and repair industrial machinery, and meet quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with good mechanical aptitude and experience in precision parts manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble equipment to engineering drawings, schematics, and IPEG standards;
• Perform quality checks on products and parts;
• Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning and conformance to customer specifications;
• Position or align components for assembly;
• Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies;
• Fasten or install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies;
• Layout and sometimes manufacture precision parts involved with assemblies and sub-assemblies;
• Verbally report progress and problems to the team leader;
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
• Be a positive team member.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED;
• 1-3 years of direct/relevant experience;
• Mechanical or electrical work experience;
• Good mechanical aptitude;
• Basis math skills;
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
