General Production Worker Role
The General Production Worker performs general shop duties to support the build of Heat Transfer Products. The role requires a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Assemble frames and other assemblies using detailed drawings
- Grind, sand, and clean steel fabrications
- Prepare fabrications for paint using sanding equipment and solvents
- Effectively build skids, crates to specifications provided
- Packaging material to prevent damage during transit
- Clean, insulate, and label product per specifications and work instructions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Accurately interpret measuring equipment
- Understand safety regulations and protocols
- Experience with power tools preferred
- Must be legally able to work in the United States
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Lift objects from one level to another (50 lbs. or less)
- Carry objects (30 lbs. or less)
- Stand on your feet
- Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, etc.
- Stoop/crouch by bending your legs or bending down/forward at the waist
- Reach by extending the hands/arms
- Travel
