We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced industrial Maintenance Technician. This role is based in our facility in Lawton, OK and will work 12 hour shifts (8:00 to 8:00 ) on a 2, 2, 3 continental shift schedule. This position is budgeted at $30.58/hour plus $1.00 shift differential for nights.

Job Summary

This position will focus primarily on the general upkeep, repair, preventative maintenance and safe operation of the facility and the industrial machinery and equipment operating within.
Principal Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot problem manufacturing equipment as assigned by manager/supervisor (industrial motors, machines, conveyors, etc.)
- Perform necessary repairs, installations and preventative maintenance to keep facilities & extrusion production lines operating
- Ensure all extrusion equipment is properly maintained, lubricated, filters replaced, etc
- Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality
- Perform essential change overs and startups as scheduled
- Proactively inform management if equipment is unsafe to operate, needs repair or requires replacement
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or certificate of completion is preferred; technical school is an asset
- Mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery and electrical troubleshooting skills are required. Welding experience is considered an asset
- Experience working on extrusion machines and/or equipment is strongly preferred
- Must be eager to learn, self-motivated to work independently and have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must provide own safety boots and preferably own basic hand tools
- Available to work 12-hour continental shifts, with an average of 42 hours per week
- Successful completion of a drug screen, criminal background check, and physical is required
- Requires good mobility and involves considerable walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to a maximum of 50 lbs
