Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Content Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling content that engages our target audience, drives traffic, and generates leads for our B2B sales funnel.
Principal Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy to support business objectives and target audience needs.
Create high-quality, engaging content across various channels including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, videos, and social media.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including channel marketing, product management, innovation and graphics to ensure alignment of content with overall marketing initiatives.
Optimize content for SEO and lead generation, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
Develop and manage content through email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and other relevant channels.
Analyze content performance metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing, B2B marketing, and relevant industries.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Proven experience (5 years) in B2B content marketing, preferably in a downstream business (Contractor, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging and persuasive content for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), SEO tools, and analytics platforms.
Experience with marketing automation and CRM software is a plus.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovation.
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
