IPEX est actuellement à la recherche d’une personne motivée, passionnée et dynamique pour occuper un poste de stagiaire en analyse financière durant une période de 4 mois débutant au mois de Mai 2025.
Relevant d’un analyste sénior au sein de la fonction FP&A, la personne supportera les partenaires d’affaires – Ventes ainsi que l’équipe des ventes Nord Amérique lors de la préparation de la planification financière, des prévisions et de la budgétisation des ventes pour de multiples entités publiantes (multidevises, multi-pays), selon un calendrier serré.
RESPONSABILITÉS CLÉS :
Recueillir et saisir l’information recueillie dans le système budgétaire pour fins de compilation et d’analyses.
Effectuer différentes analyses financières.
Aider à cerner des initiatives afin de continuellement améliorer, automatiser et adapter des outils, des processus et des méthodologies en matière de prévisions et d’établissement de rapports.
Supporter les membres de la fonction FP&A dans divers mandats et analyses.

Formation et certificats
» Titulaire d’un diplôme en comptabilité (Certificat ou BAA)
» Un minimum de 1 an d’expérience pertinente
» Bonne connaissance de Microsoft Excel (Niveau intermédiaire)
» Bonne connaissance de Power Bi (Atout)
Compétences et connaissances techniques :
» Capacité à gérer le stress et à respecter les échéances
» Très bonnes compétences en analyse et en communication

Job Summary
The Financial Performance Analyst intern partners with the FP&A Manager for Subsidiaries to monitor the financial performance against strategic objectives of four subsidiaries ($400M CAD sales), prepare forecast, and budget. In the process, the intern collaborates with various internal stakeholders including subsidiary Presidents, Functional Leaders, Business Partners, and the core FP&A team.
The intern will leverage existing processes/tools but will also help to develop a new generation of reporting and tools aiming to help drive performance improvements, consistent analysis, and reporting. A key component to the Intern’s mandate will consist in supporting the FP&A manager prepare the groundwork for the upcoming budget.
Achieving success in this role will depend on the incumbent’s ability to collaborate across the organization, be self-motivated, flexible, and dynamic in dealing with ambiguity. The intern will work closely with the FP&A Manager to derive insights and communicate them to the various stakeholders. Unique to this position is exposure to performance dynamics across the P&L spectrum (Gross Sales-CEBITDA) as well as balance sheet.
Principal Responsibilities
Help capture, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results for subsidiaries; including analyzing trends and drivers to explain YoY, forecast, and budget variances
Help translate financial results and analyses into meaningful insights to support decision making
Support the FP&A manager in preparing performance reports; ie monthly reporting packages and Power BI dashboards
Participate in reviewing financial results and ad-hoc analyses with Executives
Partake in the quarterly forecast and budget planning cycles
Help collect, consolidate, and translate feedback from stakeholders into forecast/budget inputs
Work with FP&A Manager to identify initiatives to improve performance, automate and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies
Collaborate in developing, standardizing, and improving existing reporting
Support the immediate Manager on various analyses and mandates
Qualifications & experience
Education & Certificates
Undergraduate/Graduate student in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, applied statistics, computer science, or related field.
In progress CFA, CPA, and/or Msc/MBA designations a strong plus
Technical Skills & Experience
1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Finance/FP&A (manufacturing industry)
Experience in financial Planning and modelling
Proficient in data analytics with strong focus on performance management
Advance user of Excel; Financial modelling, Pivoting, use of Power Query, Power Pivot..
Able to use analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and/or Python
Knowledge of Managerial Accounting and/or Finance
Be Customer Obsessed - Developing a deep understanding of internal customers and demonstrating a commitment to exceeding their expectations
Strong ability to ability to distil numbers into insights and drive story telling
