Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect with expertise in AWS. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between on-prem and cloud environments. This role requires a deep understanding of networking principles, cloud services, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design & Architecture:
• Design scalable and secure network architectures for connecting cloud environments to On-Prem datacenters.
• Develop detailed architecture diagrams and documentation for network solutions.
• AWS Networking Expertise:
• Implement and manage AWS networking services such as VPC, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Transit Gateway.
• Optimize cloud network performance and security by utilizing AWS best practices.
• Integration & Migration:
• Lead the integration of on-prem networks with AWS, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Support cloud migration initiatives, providing network assessments and strategy recommendations.
• Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
• Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in both on-prem and cloud environments promptly.
• Security & Compliance:
• Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with security teams to assess vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into network solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Certifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar AWS certification preferred.
• Relevant networking certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and technologies (firewalls, VPNs, load balancers).
• Proficiency with automation and orchestration tools for cloud management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
