Role: QA Developer/Automation Testing

Location: Onsite NJ

Duration: 6 Months

Required:

• Min 8 years of experience in Information Technology as a Manual and Test Automation Engineer.
• Experience in Agile Methodology and contributed in Requirement Analysis, Test Design, Development.
• Excellent working experience of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies like Waterfall & Agile/Scrum.
• Experienced with Defect Management Tracking System, following test standards, guidelines, and procedure.
• Experienced in open-source Automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Selenium Grid, and Cucumber.
• Knowledge on Automated Web Services using SoapUI, REST with knowledge of WSDL, RESTful, UDDI, eclipse.
• Experience in Micro Focus Tool Set such as ALM & LoadRunner.
• Expertise in automation of Web-based application testing using Selenium Web driver, Selenium RC,
• Selenium Grid, Selenium IDE over multiple browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera and Firefox.
• Performed BDD -Behavior Driven Development, ATDD- Acceptance Test-Driven Development and testing using cucumber, Selenium, and Testing.
• Proficient at establishing Testing Strategy, developing Test Plans, Test Scenario and Test Cases
• Experience in manipulating manual test cases into the most efficient automated test cases.
• Experience in working with the creation of Automation test scripts using various frameworks like Page Object Model (POM) design pattern, Data Driven framework, Keyword driven framework and Hybrid frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Behavioral Data Driven (BDD) framework and hands-on experience developing feature files with features, scenarios and step definitions using Cucumber.
• Knowledge in Automation Testing of applications in different API layers using POSTMAN/REST Assured.
• Ability to create a project from scratch and using Maven and Java.
• Developing conversion test strategies/designs for cutover, including, historical data conversion, open transaction conversion, order of conversions, pre-requisites for each data conversion, etc.
• Experience in IBM Rational tools like ClearQuest & ClearCase.
• Expertise in using Jenkins continuous integration tool to pull the code from the central repository, scheduling the Smoke test for continuous integration, Git, GitHub for version control management /Source Control Management.
• Executed Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Documenting Test Results, and logging/tracking defects.
• Solid experience in Manual Testing - Functional Testing, Database Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke, Positive and Negative Testing in Waterfall and Agile environment.
• Extensively used Selenium (data-driven, XPath locator) and WebDriver to test the web applications.
• Experience on ETL Jobs and Control M Jobs.
• Experience in SOA Webservice environment validations from both Functional, Automation and performance testing.
• Experience in Functional and Conversion Testing (Data Migration from Legacy systems to new modernized platforms.
• Implementing infrastructure on new AWS systems and migration of existing Linux and Windows based infrastructure to AWS and Azure Cloud platforms and automated using Terraform, Cloud Formation Templates.
