Job Title : Safety Coordinator
Job Type : Full-time
Location : New Johnsonville TN
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of EHS programs and procedures, maintaining existing Safety / Environmental programs, systems & processes, and delivering rudimentary plant floor training as required by these programs, systems, and processes. The Safety Coordinator will play a key role in upholding the plant's effort to create and maintain an injury-free environment that trains, encourages each employee at all levels of the organization to become increasingly involved in our pursuit of improved safety and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the implementation of EHS programs and procedures
- Conduct hazard analysis methodologies to identify at-risk conditions and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain existing Safety / Environmental programs, systems & processes
- Deliver rudimentary plant floor training as required by these programs, systems, and processes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and maintain safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Conduct safety and environmental audits and inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement safety and environmental improvements
- Provide leadership and guidance to employees at all levels of the organization to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
