The Role
As a Talent Acquisition Manager at IPL, you will?be responsible for leading all aspects of the talent acquisition process across the North American Business (10 sites). The Talent Acquisition Manager will be a key advisor to the business on Talent Acquisition best practices from sourcing strategies to interview best practices. You will work closely?with hiring managers to understand?their needs and develop effective?recruitment strategies. Additionally, you will manage and coach a Talent Acquisition Business Partner.
As a Talent Acquisition Manager At IPL You Will
- Support the North American business with all Talent Acquisition needs to include requisition creation & approval, job advertisements, screening candidates, interview scheduling and offer management.
- Work closely with the Reward team to benchmark roles in a timely manner
- Champion Talent Acquisition within the business, delivers training and information sessions to key business stakeholders
- Support the Talent Acquisition Director with process improvements and Talent Acquisition related projects
- Provides regular reports to the business e.g. open requisitions, roles filled, time to hire.
- Collaborate with hiring managers?to understand their recruitment?needs and develop effective sourcing?strategies, ensuring the timely and quality hiring of candidates across different roles.
- Manage and coach direct report to include goal setting & regular reviews
- Manage and nurture relationships?with universities, career centres, and other relevant organizations?to build a strong talent pipeline
- Source candidates through various?channels, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other professional?networks
- Manage the overall interview?and selection process, ensuring?a positive candidate experience

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a?related field
- Proven experience within a senior Talent Acquisition role within manufacturing or similar industry
- Experience in both agency and in-house roles is preferred
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate others
- Strong communication and interpersonal?skills to effectively collaborate?with hiring managers and candidates
- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking software and sourcing tools
- Experience with setting, tracking and driving KPIs within talent acquisition area
- Excellent organizational skills?and attention to detail
- Strong influencing and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize?effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is a must and fluency in French is a plus
- Knowledge of employment laws?and regulations
